My Air Fryer

I received a very lovely Air Fryer from one of my sons for my birthday several months ago.  It is stainless steel and matches the other appliances in my kitchen.  However, I'm an old fashion cook, and to be honest, I've been a little afraid to use it.  I'm ashamed that I received it in February, and have only used it twice.

Earlier this week, I roasted some golden potatoes in the oven.  I had too many to put in the pan that I used to put in the oven, so I decided to put the remainder in my air fryer.

The results were great.  They were crispy and tasty.  I actually, liked them better than the ones that I cooked in the oven.  There was very little clean-up.  I was impressed.  The moral of this post is don't be afraid to try new appliances, particularly if it's a healthier way to cook.  The new method and the new appliance may just surprise you.

I didn't record a recipe but this is what I did:

  • Cut the potatoes into wedges
  • Sprayed them with a little olive oil
  • Sprinkled them with Italian seasonings, ground garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and pink salt

I don't recall the temperature or time setting that I used.

I welcome you to share some of your air fryer recipes with us.
